The Hague, December 3, 2014 – The Dutch chemical industry show a slight growth during the first three quarters of this year. Compared with the same period in 2013, sales rose nearly 1%, producing more than 2% and exports by 0.5%. This is evidenced by recent figures published by Statistics Netherlands. The Dutch chemical industry performs relatively favorable. It appears that the production of the European chemicals increased during the same period by only 1% and of the entire Dutch industry actually decreased by 0.5%.
