Strongly motivated postdoc at the membrane technology group of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering of KU Leuven, Belgium
The TENMIP-project aims to develop concepts to create very tight, low swelling robust nanofiltration or reverse osmosis membranes for organic solvents with a MWCO<300 Dalton, which are also applicable at elevate temperature. These membranes will then be tested with the separation of process mixtures containing small differences between the components (size, shape, polarizability, complexibility) as present in industry, in order to evaluate their economic feasibility. This is why Huntsman, Shell, Solsep, UTwente, KU Leuven, VITO, ECN, and ISPT have joined forces in the ISPT-coordinated ‘Testing and Evaluation of Nanofiltration Membranes in Industrial Processes’-project (TENMIP). Internship: Virtual Reality 360 Film Designer
With 360 degree photo equipment prices dropping and the availability of designer studios increasing opportunities arise for many company to design virtual labs and factory tours.
After a first exploration ISPT wants to extensively explore the possibilities of interactive virtual reality films for the industry in the Netherlands. Interactive films that can be used at exhibitions and trainings, but also to teach high school students what it means to work in a factory.
We are looking for a candidate to help us create the new virtual reality movies. Someone who can create this from concept to an interaction format, including the production of your own content, virtual factory tours and lab tours.
The films are developed in a collaboration between the Chemical and Paper industry in the Netherlands. We will include walkthroughs for the themes Circular Economy, Sustainability and Factory of the Future.
We have the necessary hardware and software for 360 degree photos and virtual reality available.
Internship: Innovation at the factory!
IOI Loders Croklaan is looking for an independent student to work with the EEMBAR project between 15 June and 30 September 2017. It is an exceptional project because you will work with a specially designed and built pilot unit that is being tested at the factory location. TU students are invited to attend an internship. In addition to running the pilot unit, there is also the challenge to simulate the current installation and test results with ASPEN, thus ensuring a proper comparison of the current situation and the potential new membrane situation.
Stage allowance 600 euro per month.
Internship-position on offer?
Through internships in the 3th and 4th year of the HBO education students obtain relevant practical knowledge and experience in an industrial setting. The Industry plays an important role by introducing the ‘real live’ business environment to the student.
Students who follow the regular program will do an internship twice; both for a period of 5 months: HBO students (3rd year) from September until February HBO students (4th year) from February until July
During the internship the student gets a solid introduction to your company and indirectly the teachers of the HBO that mentor the student get introduced as well.
Interested to offer talented students the possibility to do their internship within your company, please fill in our internship format.
As ISPT offers talented students the opportunity to join our national talent program PTTP, we offer these internship possibilities first to our talents and later to all the Chemical Engineering students of the affiliated HBO institutes. Please fill out the form as fully as possible. You can address Daniella Vrijling through email@example.com / +31 (0) 33 700 97 97 for further processing of your internship vacancy and any additional information.
