The European dimension: Innovating process industries in European Context
ISPT believes that the scope of our work transcends the Dutch borders. Therefore we currently work with partners throughout Europe in several European projects, which fall into several different European programs and/or consortia such as Horizon2020, Bio Based Industries Consortium and INTERREG.

Carbon2Value: Innovative CO2 separation technology aims to reduce emissions in steel industry
The Carbon2Value project has officially started and revolves around an innovative technology with the potential to reduce CO2 emissions across the major energy intensive steel sector by 30-45%. The Carbon2Value consortium consists of DoW Benelux (NL), Lanza Tech (UK), POMOV (BE), the University of Lille, ISPT (NL) and ArcelorMittal as project leader. The consortium aims to use the technology to separate CO2 streams and valorize CO and potentially CO2 in the future. Two valorization routes will be studied during the project, i.e. ethanol as a drop-in transportation fuel and synthetic naphtha as a drop-in chemical building block.
The project has officially started in January 2017 and is currently in the startup fase and hopes to air her website shortly.
