Energy efficient valorization of Components from process streams is the full title of the new EuRyDice project that will be executed by AkzoNobel, Corbion, DOW, Hexion, ECN, KWR, VITO within the framework of ISPT.
The aim of this project is finding economically and technically feasible solutions for the recovery of salts and organic compounds from process streams in order to get the chain to at least 25% energy efficiency improvement and at least 10 PJ / year less energy use in the Netherlands.
Also the project aims at practical implementation and improving innovative processes for treating process water streams that lead to significant energy savings in the industry, reduced CO2 emissions and higher efficient use of both raw materials and products.
